Remote Guarding
  • chevron_rightWhat is Remote Guarding?
Remote Guarding is an advanced security system that combines technology and professional monitoring to keep our community safe. Using cameras and two-way audio, our security team monitors the entrance and responds to visitors in real time, providing a high level of protection in a cost-effective way.

  • chevron_rightWho operates the Remote Guarding system?
Our Remote Guards are experienced, licensed security professionals employed directly by Maximum Security. They work from our Huntington, NY Command Center and are trained to manage the security of our community with the same care as an on-site guard.

  • chevron_rightHow does Remote Guarding benefit residents?
Residents continue to have easy access to the community with their access control stickers. The system works seamlessly in the background, ensuring security without changing the way residents enter or leave the community.

  • chevron_rightWhat areas are monitored?
The entrance and exit of the community are covered by high-definition cameras to enhance visibility and security. The system provides better overall coverage than a traditional guard booth alone.

  • chevron_rightWhen is Remote Guarding active?
Remote Guarding is used to cover overnight hours and times of lower traffic. It ensures constant monitoring even when a physical guard is not on-site.
  • chevron_rightHow long has this system been in use?
Maximum Security began developing Remote Guarding in 2016, and the first community was launched in 2019. Since then, dozens of communities and commercial properties across multiple states have successfully adopted this technology.
  • chevron_rightWhy use Remote Guarding instead of an on-site guard?
Remote Guarding offers superior coverage, advanced monitoring capabilities, and cost savings, while maintaining the same level of security and oversight residents expect. Communities often expand coverage after seeing its effectiveness.
